Speed Control

Mist Spray Unit

These features create a very rigid, dynamically stable and productive machine. The linear guide ways ensure smooth saw frame movement and consistently stable cutting force required throughout the cutting cycle; thereby, increasing the cutting efficiency and extending blade life.

DK 6000 employs High Precision Linear Guide Way design. The saw frame rides on three (3) linear guide ways with 9 linear bearings. This design allows the saw frame a rigid base thereby ensuring the smoothest feeding, highest precision and lowest friction guide system available today. DK series saws are designed for high speed, precision and a long service life for operators to use more longer without servicing.

DK 6000 employs Servo controlled Guide holder rack to follow the cutting part heigth during the cutting operation. In case material has an different heigth ( as a engine block or truck gearbox ) the rack is moves automaticly on necessary heigth to have more quality surface on cutting.

DK 6000 as a standard has included second table constructed with UNP100 frame and steel lims covers. Specific second table is optional equipment please see below to have more knowledge about high-tech second table.

Blade drive / downfeed:
The rugged gearbox is specially designed to accept high lateral pressure, thereby eliminating thermal distortion. This design provides long and trouble free gearbox life.
Heavy duty inverter blade drive system provides infinitely variable blade speed control from the operator’s control station. The blade speed indicator is conveniently located on the control panel.

Sawblade guides & Blade Change system:
Bearing guides or the so called hydraulic guides system eliminates blade stress by pre-aligning the blade before it enters the carbide guides. Two additional inserts located on a central axis support the blade from the top (the non-toothed part of the blade), giving it extra penetrating force for faster cuts.
Hydraulic guide system can effectively reduce blade vibration produced under high-speed cutting. Especially for cutting small materials on bandsaws of large width capacity, the vibration damper can reduce blade vibration, increase cutting rate, and enable smooth cut-off surfaces.
Integral coolant system. Coolant is supplied at four critical points: exit & entry of blade through blade guides, middle of cut via adjustable flex hose, and blade cleaning brush.
Heavy-duty cast guide arms effectively absorb vibration and enhance cutting result. Movable guide arm is automatically positioned to as close to workpiece as possible, maximizing cutting stability.

Automatic hydraulic blade tensioning device provides correct blade tensioning when the machine is turned on and will slightly release the tension when the machine is not running. This extends blade life. The on-off hydraulic blade tension switch is accessible from the HMI of the machine, making blade change quicker and easier.
24 V DC power driven blade brush effectively cleans chips from blade to extend blade life. Further the brush is easy to replace and can be purchased separately (see options).
Motorized Blade Change System – provides easy, fast and safe blade changing with motor rotation. No need to move the table up-down.

Control & Automation:
The operator’s control station ergonomically located on the right side of the saw and moving true the right side lenght. All operator controls are positioned on the top of the control box and clearly labeled for ease of operation. The electrical components are located inside the electric box with the main lockout disconnect on the front of the electric box for safety and easy maintenance.
Temelsan’s current control system achieves optimal cutting performance. The operator can easily set the correct feed speed and current control system is cutting any of material with necessary feed speed and blade speed.

Automatic work height sensor positions the saw frame to a safe clearance above the work piece, so that the next piece can be positioned without damaging the blade. After feeding, the saw head will descend quickly to within approximately 10mm of work piece, where it proceeds at the predetermined cutting rates.

Proximity switches sense both blade slippage and blade breakage and will automatically shut off the machine if either of these conditions should occur.
All blade covers and guardings on the saw are painted in orange. Orange creates extra awareness towards the operator and it increases his/her safety alertness.
The ‘Interlock’ design in the electrical and hydraulic system prevents the saw from accidental start-up.
All electrical and hydraulic cables and hoses are protected.
